IT IS TIME FOR OUPA TO SHOW THE GRANDKIDS HOW TO REALLY PLAY!
This used to be very, very popular in the 1960s, before electronic screens and plastic toys full of electronics, took over our lives. And yes, they are SLOW, but you can race against each other.
It is simply an empty wooden sewing thread spool, a piece of candle, a lollypop stick, a rubber band and a short piece of a toothpick.
Nowadays, we don’t find wooden spools as everything is plastic, and plastic does not work for this project.
We simply make our own spools and there you go!
